The 11th StadtSportVest will take place on 15 September 2024

Sport brings people together, you don’t need much knowledge of languages and it doesn’t matter where you come from or what you believe in as long as you know the rules.

… and as long as you find the right club

What sports are there? Which sport do I enjoy? What prerequisites should I have? Are there taster sessions? All questions are answered for all age groups at StadtSportVest.

The 11th StadtSportVest will take place on 15 September 2024 from 13:00 to 18:00.

In the city centre,

• … on the old town market square
• … at the Petrinum grammar school
• … at St Peter’s church square
• … on the Kunibertistraße
• … at the Löhrhof
• … on the town hall square
• … in the Palais Vest

you will find around 35 Recklinghausen sports clubs. They will be presented, give demonstrations, be interviewed, invite you to take part in activities and, last but not least, give away an annual membership.

The performances and interviews will take place on several stages. Musical support will also be provided. You can expect a great day with all kinds of opportunities to take a look at the clubs or other sports.

Of course, the mascot race will once again be part of the StadtSportVest. We hear: Emma and Erwin have confirmed their participation.
