SSV for tolerance

Throughout Germany, sport stands for togetherness, fair play, human dignity, participation and integration.

We, the StadtSportVerband Recklinghausen, also stand for these values. We are grateful for our diverse sports community. We condemn all racist and inhumane ideas, statements and actions and stand firmly against them.

We firmly believe that sport speaks a universal language that unites people regardless of their origin, religion, gender identity or sexual orientation. Our aim is to create an inclusive atmosphere in which everyone can experience the joy of sporting activity, free from prejudice and discrimination.

In order to protect our members, our course participants and other people in our environment against attacks in the areas of discrimination, hate speech, (sexualised) violence, etc., we have already implemented various measures (mandatory submission of a certificate of good conduct, staff training, protection concept, …).

In addition, we want to give victims and witnesses of incidents the opportunity to contact us safely and anonymously if they wish. We provide this reporting portal for this purpose.

To the reporting portal

Together, we can create an inclusive, diverse and tolerant sports community that serves as a role model for society as a whole.
